Endotherm
An endotherm is an animal that regulates its own body temperature, typicaly by keeping a constant level. To regulate body temperature, an organism may need to prevent heat gains in arid enviroments. Animals with a body covered by fur have a limited ability to sweat, relying heavily on panting more than evaporating water across skin through sweat glands for cooling the body temperature.
